New Melbourne Heart FC signing Harry Kewell arrived in Melbourne early this morning and attended a low-key welcome breakfast to signal his return to the A-League.

Kewell will join the Red and White in his first training session at AAMI Park tomorrow morning and will train throughout the week with his new team.

Melbourne Heart will hold an official press conference at AAMI tomorrow.

The 34-year-old attacker brings impressive international experience to the Red and White, having been a pivotal figure in four Australian World Cup qualifying campaigns and two FIFA World Cups, in 2006 and 2010.

“It-s always been my intention to come back and play in the A-League,” Kewell said last month when he signed with the Heart.

“John Aloisi and I have known each other a long time and we have played together, so I-m thrilled to be part of Melbourne Heart at an exciting time.”
