Melbourne Heart FC will miss midfielder Harry Kewell and defender Robbie Wielaert as the Red and White welcome Hyundai A-League leaders Brisbane Roar to AAMI Park this Sunday.
Kewell has failed to shake a toe injury which saw him miss the side’s trip to Wellington, while Wielaert collected his fifth yellow card of the season in New Zealand and will miss the encounter as he serves a one-match suspension for accumulation.
Jonatan Germano returns to the preliminary squad and remains in contention for an appearance this weekend, while Luke O’Dea, who was an unused substitute against Wellington, is still in line to make his senior debut.
Michael Mifsud has also bee included in the extended squad after netting a hat-trick in the Foxtel National Youth League.
After falling 1-0 to the Newcastle Jets at Suncorp Stadium last weekend, Brisbane Roar has named a strong line-up for the clash at AAMI Park, with Liam Miller returning to midfield following suspension.
