Melbourne City FC can confirm that Matildas international Kyah Simon has mutually agreed to terminate her contract with the Club to pursue an opportunity abroad.

Simon joined City ahead of the 2017/18 Westfield W-League season, where she played an influential role in the team’s championship success with her instinctive ability in attack.

Following an interrupted 2018/19 season, Simon returned to her very best during the Club’s invincible 2019/20 campaign, helping her side secure the premiership and championship double.

“To the City fans, thank you for sharing this journey with me and for all your support throughout my time at City and the past 10 years that I’ve spent in the W-League. I’ve made many unforgettable memories, shared the field with so many talented teammates and won trophies – all moments I will cherish forever.”
