Massimo Murdocca

Murdocca arrived home to Melbourne after eight seasons with Brisbane Roar, where he established himself as a model of consistency and excellence. Before joining Brisbane Roar, Murdocca played for South Melbourne in the now defunct National Soccer League.

His midfield partnership with Matt McKay was considered to be an essential part of the Brisbane Roar side during the 2010/2011 championship. After 8 seasons with the Brisbane Roar with 162 appearances and 3 Goals, Massimo signed a contract to join the Melbourne City on a two year deal, following a release from his final year of his contract.

Murdocca represented Australia in the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship. He is a player widely known in the A-League for his high work rate and stamina. His low centre of gravity allows him to be quick and agile in his movements on the pitch.

A diminutive midfield general, Murdocca is a dual Hyundai A-League championship winner and joined the Club in June 2013 on a two year deal. Murdocca has all the ingredients to become a long-term fixture at the club.
