It’s the start of the new A-League season this Friday and we want to see AAMI Park awash with City Blue! Here’s everything you need to know about what’s happening on Blue Friday against Brisbane Roar.

City Square returns to Gosch’s Paddock

City Square is back for another season! Countdown to kick-off with family and friends at our dedicated pre-match fan zone from 5:30 pm up until kick-off.

All City fans over 18+ can enjoy the best beer in the A-League courtesy of our friends at Stomping Ground Brewery, who will be running a pop-up bar at City Square.

Don’t forget to pick up your FREE copy of our official matchday brochure, City Insider. Brush up on all the latest stats ahead of the season opener, and enjoy a special feature on new defender Bart Schenkeveld.

Kids can emulate their City heroes at our small sided matches, while there will be plenty of food, free face painting, City inflatables and giveaways to keep you occupied.

It’s the best way to pass the time before the big game against the Roar in the company of your family, friends and fellow City fans.

Getting to AAMI Park

Public Transport is the quickest and easiest way to get to AAMI Park.

  • The nearest train station is Richmond Station, which is just a short stroll along Swan Street and Olympic Boulevard to AAMI Park.
  • Tram Route 70 (Wattle Park – Waterfront City Docklands) can drop you off across the road from AAMI Park (Stop 7D). Extra trams will be operating as Route 70a between Flinders Street Station and Stop 7D – AAMI Park.
  • Bus Route 605 stops out the front of AAMI Park on Swan Street. Route 246 stops at the corner of Punt Road and Swan Street.

Car Parking
