Welcome our newest Australian citizens to the City Family.

Melbourne City FC will be welcoming Australia’s newest citizens during a special Citizenship and Affirmation ceremony.

The ceremony will involve 51 new Australians, who will become citizens at the game and complete their Pledge of Allegiance on pitch prior to the start of the match against Newcastle.

We invite all our fans to support and welcome the new Conferees by joining in the singing of the National Anthem and repeating the Affirmation – to be performed by City women’s star Aivi Luik. Let’s make the ceremony a very special event for the newest members of the City Family!
