Melbourne Heart FC will seek to repeat its dramatic, show-stopping 2-1 win over Adelaide United in December last year when the team returns to Hindmarsh Stadium tonight.

On that occasion, the duo of former Socceroos John Aloisi and Simon Colosimo, ably assisted by fellow Green and Gold hero Josip Skoko, orchestrated a stellar come from behind win during a hectic final two minutes of play.

While those scenes of mayhem are unlikely to be repeated, the stakes remain high for both clubs as they seek to commence the climb up the Hyundai A-League table.

Following a heart wrenching 1-1 draw with Sydney FC last week, the Red and White-s will be on the war path, out to atone for the result.

But in Adelaide United, Heart faces a challenger boasting equal ambitions, having succumbed to the might of Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium in a 7-1 thumping.

Danger Man

Dario Vidosic – While Adelaide United boast attacking threats across the park, it-s hard to look past World Cup Socceroo and former Bundesliga man Dario Vidosic. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has shown but glimpses of his best far thus far this season, and is poised to explode on the Reds familiar stage of Friday night football. Simon Colosimo and his central defensive partner (either Brendan Hamill or Adrian Madaschi) are sure to face a torrid time against the Queenslander.
