Melbourne Heart FC will seek revenge for its last minute loss to the Newcastle Jets in Week 1 of the Hyundai A-League season when the side-s renew enmities at AAMI Park tomorrow night (5.30pm ko).

While Heart is winless this season, the team has strung together a series of promising displays over recent weeks, earning draws against Victory, Adelaide United and Sydney FC, although the Red and White can feel rightly aggrieved it hasn-t earned more from the opening matches of the season.

Byun-Sung Hwan-s deflected goal at Ausgrid Stadium in the opening round set the tone for Heart so far this season, with misfortune appearing to beset the side at every turn.

However, with Head Coach John van ‘t Schip confident in his team-s resolve, a win over the high flying Jets potentially looms on the horizon, acting as a launching point for Heart-s finals bid.

Danger Man
Ryan Griffiths – After tormenting the Heart defence during the side-s earlier meeting this season, Ryan Griffiths looms once again as the man to watch. Griffiths nabbed a double at Ausgrid Stadium to lay the platform for Newcastle-s 3-2 win.
