Melbourne Heart FC will look to jump to third on the Hyundai A-League table when the side takes on reigning champions Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium tonight.

While Brisbane sits comfortably clear atop the Hyundai A-League, a glut of teams occupying the finals places sit within mere points of each other, placing added emphasis on a strong performance by the red and white as Head Coach John van ‘t Schip-s team continues to stake its claim for a top six berth.

After claiming a hard fought 1-0 win over the Wellington Phoenix in Morwell, Heart reinforced its status as one of the form teams of the competition, winning three of its last four matches to commence its climb up the Hyundai A-League table.

The Roar meanwhile have suffered a stutter of sorts, albeit of the very minor kind after suffering an unlikely 2-0 loss to Sydney FC, ending the Club-s unprecedented 36-match unbeaten streak, an Australian record.
