Melbourne Heart has revealed a new partnership with Victorian employment services provider MatchWorks.

Melbourne Heart is delighted to announce it has struck a new partnership with Victorian employment services provider, MatchWorks, which will see the Club adopt a new away shirt sponsor.

MatchWorks will appear on the sleeve of Melbourne Heart-s away strip for the 2012-13 season, a relationship Heart Chief Executive Officer Scott Munn has labelled “a great fit”.

“MatchWorks is a leading employment services provider and have a genuine commitment to the community,” Munn said.

“We see this as a great fit with Melbourne Heart.

“We are excited to announce that MatchWorks will be our sleeve sponsor on our official Melbourne Heart away playing strip and, additionally, Match Works will be branded on the sleeve of our fan designed third kit.”

Heart is currently holding a competition which allows fans to design and create an alternative strip which will be worn against Perth Glory on February 9 next year, which always stirs plenty of fan engagement and interest.

MatchWorks General Manager Michael Wasley has welcomed the partnership.

“MatchWorks is proud to be partnering with Melbourne Heart FC. Like Melbourne Heart, we are committed to meeting the highest standards of professionalism, whilst remaining faithful to the grassroots community,” Wasley said.

“MatchWorks began in 1998 with only eight staff. Our vision then was to support people to find work and in turn support the communities where we operated. Today, we support over 20,000 people each year who are looking for work, and our vision is still the same. By partnering with Melbourne Heart, we hope to connect with even more people and support them in their search for employment.”

“We look forward to kicking goals with Melbourne Heart during the 2012/13 season.”

MatchWorks provides a range of employment and related services to people looking for work and businesses looking for staff, including specialist services for people with disabilities, and is the largest provider of employment in Victoria.
