Melbourne City’s Fan Representative Group (FRG) has welcomed new members as the Club continues to promote input and feedback from its membership and supporter base.

Founded in 2013, the Club’s Fan Representative Group was established to create a key communications channel between the Club and its fans.

The FRG allows fans to meet with key staff at the Club, from fan development and match day operations departments and regularly meet with the Club’s CEO, to discuss a range of topics including marketing, match day experience, merchandise, Club direction and various other key topics.

The Club is pleased to announce it has expanded the FRG from seven to 10 current members to ensure there are representatives from a broad range of membership types and supporter groups – including Premium A, Premium B, Premium C, General Admission, Active and First Touch members.

The new members selected represent the Club’s Active (Natalie), Premium C (Joey) and Premium A (Luke) membership categories and will meet with the Club this Thursday evening.

The FRG is just one element of the Club’s wider fan engagement strategy and the expansion of the FRG comes after Melbourne City recently introduced a new official online platform called City Voice.

City Voice is an official platform for fans to express their ideas and opinions about everything City. From their match day experience to their favourite player to their favourite goal, City Voice will ensure fans voices are heard.

Fans are invited to take part in topical monthly surveys and every fan that participates is entered into a monthly draw to win some money can’t buy prizes and experiences.

If you’ve got a new idea, you can create a new post and tell us what you’re thinking. We read every comment that you post and where relevant we will pass on your suggestions to the appropriate team, so get posting!
