Melbourne City FC’s David Williams headed into camp with the Foxtel A-League All Stars on Friday as the team assembles for the clash against Juventus on August 10.

After training in the Club’s first day back at La Trobe University, Williams will travelled to the camp in Wollongong to meet up with the side that includes Johnny Warren Medalist Thomas Broich, Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero and Socceroo Matthew Spiranovic.

Adelaide United and Foxtel A-League All Stars coach Josep Gombau will run the players through their paces with a number of sessions and a friendly against the Young Socceroos on August 5 at WIN Stadium.

Williams, who participated in last year’s event against Manchester United, will be heading into the contest against the Italian giants looking to impress on a global stage, with the game being broadcasted through Asia and across Europe.

The game will coincide with Juventus’ Asian Tour that will see the Italian champions travel to Indonesia and Signapore to take on representative sides.

See Willo tackle Juventus at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on 10 August with the match to be broadcast live and exclusive on the Seven Network nationally.
