Melbourne City will look to regain some important form this Saturday as they take on Nunawading City at CFA’s Academy Pitches.
City let go a 3-1 lead in the first half to draw 3-3 with Weribee City last Saturday and will look to get back on the winners list against a Nunawading side that has struggled since the inception of the NPL.
City went up in the first half as Yusuf Ahmed, Ali Eyigun and an own goal saw Joe Palatsides’ side in cruise control however a lapse in the second half saw the Bees pick up a point from the encounter, only their second in nine matches.
After a barren run of results, City will come up against a Nunawading side that has conceded 25 goals in nine matches this season, picking up nine points in as many matches.
Goals are aplenty in matches with Nunawading with their style of play seeing goals both scored and conceded.
