The number 12 is special at Melbourne Heart, with the number signifying the importance of the 12th man – the fans – to the Club.
This season we are giving members the opportunity to nominate a worthy member who you think should be awarded the accolade of this season’s Number 12 Best Fan at Melbourne Heart FC.
We are looking for your nominees, with the final five nominations set to play off in a Grand Final contest at half time on AAMI Park when we take on Western Sydney Wanderers on April 12. Get your tickets for that match here.
Has a member you know created a new chant, written a blog about the Club, recruited new members, or is the best-dressed fan on match-day? If you know a Melbourne Heart FC member who expresses the levels of passionate enthusiasm that we expect from our 12th man, nominate them!
Last year-s winner was Alex Yianni who helped create a mobile app which was used to recruit new members to the Club. As the inaugural winner, Alex will be presenting the trophy to this year-s champion.
To enter, nominate a fellow member and tell us in 50 words or less why they deserve the accolade. We will select five finalists who will battle it out at half time in the last game of the season.
