Melbourne City FC can confirm Scottish import, Michael O’Halloran has sustained a hamstring injury that rules the winger out for 8-12 weeks. The injury occurred during a pre-season friendly against Brisbane Roar and means O’Halloran will miss City’s first block of games of the new A-League season.
As O’Halloran begins rehabilitation, the rest of the squad’s focus will be on the Round 1 Melbourne Derby.
