Melbourne City FC and Melbourne Olympic Parks Trust would like to inform all Melbourne City members and fans of road and footbridge closures ahead of Saturday’s match with Adelaide.
A strip of Olympic Boulevard between Punt Rd and AAMI Park will be closed for scheduled tram track and lane maintenance. This means all northbound and southbound lanes on Punt Rd will not be able to turn onto Olympic Boulevard on Saturday night. Access to AAMI Park will still be available from the river end of Olympic Boulevard.
The route 70 tram to and from the city will continue to run with some small changes during the works. You’ll need to hop off the tram at Swan Street near Cremorne Street or AAMI Park and walk across Punt Road. To avoid these changes, you can also catch the train between Flinders Street and Richmond Station.
The MCG Footbridge will also be closed down for construction works as outlined below. This point will remain closed for the rest of the season. The bridge closest to AAMI Park will remain open.
The Club would like to advise all fans to plan their trip to the stadium on Saturday night to avoid any disruptions.
