Melbourne City can confirm Markel Susaeta has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
The Spaniard joined the Club during the January transfer period on a 6-month contract, making 10 appearances and scoring twice in his time at the Club.
Susaeta has not joined the team in New South Wales quarantine and has returned to Spain for family reasons.
The Club would like to thank Markel for his contribution over the past season and wishes him well for the future.
