Following the club-s 1-0 loss against Newcastle Jets last Saturday, the first defeat in their previous eight A-League fixtures, the players are determined to turn things around and get back to winning ways.
But Redmayne is wary that the Phoenix will not be an easy task as they look to secure revenge from the last time these two sides took to the field.
“They-ll be pretty fired up from last time we played them,” Redmayne said. “But so are we because we want to turn around last week.
“We want to get back to winning ways and we want to keep improving so there-s a lot at stake this week.

“The mentality is pretty normal, we just want to keep improving week by week.”
The 1-0 loss was also the first time Heart had conceded in 340 minutes of football, with Redmayne keeping three consecutive clean sheets for the first time in his Melbourne Heart career.
“I don-t think we lacked too much solidity in the back-line,” Redmayne said. “It was disappointing to concede a goal having been so tight the last three weeks before that but I-m sure we can get back on track.
“I do take a lot of responsibility in the organisation part at the back but at the end of the day everyone has to pull their weight and stay in line.”
The previous time these two sides met was last month at Westpac Stadium where Heart ran out 5-0 winners thanks to a David Williams hat-trick, a first ever A-League goal for Orlando Engelaar and an own goal by Glen Moss.
Redmayne said the tactics for Sunday-s game will be similar, pointing out Costa Rican playmaker Carlos Hernandez as the danger man.
“I thought our tactics were spot on last time we played them,” Redmayne said.
“We have to replicate that and make sure we-re shutting down Carlos (Hernandez), not allowing them any space or time to get their heads up and play the balls in behind.
“It-s just like any other game… we-ve maintained since JvS (John van-t Schip) came in that we just want to take it one game at a time and keep a steady improvement within the squad.
“We-ll just look at it like that and take this game on its merit and see where that takes us.”
