Melbourne City have been crowned the Foxtel National Youth League Champions after a thrilling win over Sydney FC in the Grand Final on Saturday afternoon.

A brace from Braedyn Crowley – including a last-gasp penalty – and a second half strike from Daniel Arzani inspired City to a 3-2 win at Central Coast Stadium

Crowley opened the scoring midway through the first half before an own goal from City’s Ruon Tongyik and a strike from Charles Lokolingoy gave Sydney FC the advantage with 20 minutes remaining.

City levelled the scores via the penalty spot with Daniel Arzani making no mistake from 12 yards to set up a thrilling finish.

And with the game set for extra-time in the dying stages, City were awarded another spot kick after a handball inside the box with Crowley stepping up to fire home and seal a memorable win.
