Melbourne Heart FC’s Gerald Sibon will return to action after spending a week on the sidelines through injury during tomorrow night’s match against Sydney FC at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Sibon, who produced a Goal of the Season contender against cross town rival Victory in the second Melbourne Derby, missed Heart’s last outing against Adelaide United through injury.

But having made a swift recovery, the towering Dutchman is set to feature in Heart’s first trip north to the Harbour City.

Heart though will still be without the samba flair of Alex Terra after the Brazilian failed to recover in time from a hamstring injury.

However, Terra is expected to be fit for Heart’s New Years encounter against the North Queensland Fury at AAMI Park on January 2.

Eli Babalj remains the other player unavailable for selection due to injury, while Kamal Ibrahim and Ante Tomic are continuing their respective recoveries after enduring extended lay-offs.
