SQUADS: Melbourne City FC announce 18-man squad for the Melbourne Derby

The squads are in for the Hyundai A-League’s first instalment of the Melbourne Derby for the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 season. See who’s in and who’s out for the blockbuster clash.

Melbourne City FC will enter Saturday night’s encounter with an almost full strength line up, only missing Robert Koren who could miss four to six weeks with a calf injury.

After coming off a 1-1 draw with the Newcastle Jets, Melbourne City FC will draw confidence from their performances, dominating the majority of their opening two rounds.

Their opponents have had a blistering start to the season, dismantling the Western Sydney Wanderers in Round 1 and picking up a vital 1-1 draw against Adelaide United last week.

Victory will be missing regular left-back Jason Geria — who will sit-out Saturday’s clash with an ankle injury — and will be replaced by Scott Galloway, who will slot into Geria’s position.
