Dress up as your favourite Star Wars hero

Whether you’re on the dark side or light side, we want to see it at AAMI Park!

We’ll be holding a Star Wars fancy-dress competition, with some exclusive prizes to be won, including a Star Wars Battle Drone made by Propel technology.

Don’t fancy dressing up? Then we’ve got you covered. There will be 4000 Chewbacca masks given away throughout the day, so make sure you’re there early to get your mask and support our W-League stars!

All costumes must comply with the stadium Terms of Admission. See below for full details.

Learn to become a Jedi at City Square

Want to become the next Luke Skywalker? We will be holding special Padawan training for kids in City Square before both matches.

Learn the ways of the force with specialised lightsaber training from Jedi Knights, with prizes to be given for the Padawan who shows the most promise.

Battle Marcus Gomes on the big screen

Think you have what it takes to beat the best FIFA Jedi in the country? Head to City Square and challenge our e-Sports star Marcus Gomes to a match of FIFA 18 on our giant LED screens.

If you manage to beat him, you’ll win yourself a Star Wars battle drone!

You’ll also have the chance to challenge your mates in a fan tournament, with exclusive Star Wars merchandise up for grabs.

Race BB-8 at half-time

Eight lucky junior members will be selected to race our BB-8 droid on AAMI Park at half-time, who will be rolling at light speed on our LED advertising boards. If your kid would like a chance to compete, please head to the membership marquee on the front concourse, next to Edwin’s Café, to sign up pre-match.

The winner will receive a Star Wars battle drone, while second and third will win a droid and BB8 soccer ball respectively.
