The starting line ups for Friday’s clash with Brisbane Roar have been confirmed. See who’s made the final squad.
In our first eleven for the season, Warren Joyce will look to play a 4-3-3 formation handing City A-League debuts to Eugene Galekovic, Bart Schenkeveld, Iacopo La Rocca and most notably, Ross McCormack.
The Scottish international has been with the Club for a week and has impressed the coaching and fitness staff with his output, earning a starting debut for the Club.
A plethora of defensive options has seen Joyce make the hard decision of leaving Scott Jamieson on the bench with Bart Schenkeveld taking up the left back position alongside La Rocca, Manny Muscat and Michael Jakobsen.
Brisbane have mixed experience with youth in their line up with their marquee striker Massimo Maccarone and Fahid Ben Khalfallah starting alongside young guns Petros Skapetis and Nicholas D’agostino.
