Taseski and Hamill To Feature For Come Play XI

Melbourne Heart FC youngsters Kliment Taseski and Brendan Hamill are set to feature for the Come Play XI in tonight’s clash against Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park.

Melbourne Heart FC youngsters Kliment Taseski and Brendan Hamill are set to feature for the Come Play XI in tonight-s clash against Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park.

The Come Play XI will include some of the brightest young talents in the country, including FC Utrecht bound Michael Zullo and Adam Sarota, as well as Liverpool FC contracted ‘keeper Dean Bouzanis, providing Hamill and Taseski the chance to star on Melbourne-s newest sporting stage.

General Manager of Football Operations John Didulica believes the experience of playing in front of a strong crowd at AAMI Park will prove invaluable for both Hamill and Taseski ahead of the upcoming Hyundai A-League season.

“The club is very proud it will have two players featuring in the Come Play XI, which is a testament to our commitment to developing Australian elite talent,” he said.

“In their short time at the Club, Kliment and Brendan have proven themselves to be fantastic professionals and I am certain they will benefit from the experience of spending time with fellow youngsters.

“They both have a bright future ahead of them, and I hope tonight-s clash marks simply the first in a series of representative honours over the coming years.

“Eli Babalj and Kamal Ibrahim were also invited to take part, but unfortunately, injury has prevented them from participating in the match.”

The duo have been joined in the Come Play XI camp by Heart-s Ante Milicic, who has been named as Assistant Coach for the exhibition match, the first football clash to take place at AAMI Park.

Prior to joining Heart, Milicic was an assistant to Jan Versleijen for the Qantas Young Socceroos FIFA U/20 World Cup campaign in Egypt last year, playing a key role in preparing the side for that tournament.

And his experience during that period should place him in good stead when assisting Australia-s leading rising stars for tonight-s match.

With the countdown to the club-s competition debut well underway, Melbourne Heart FC invites you to register for priority access and become a member at the Hyundai A-League-s newest football club.
