John van’t Schip has named his extended squad to take on Sydney FC in the Westfield FFA Cup Final 2016. See who’s made the cut for the Final at AAMI Park.
City have recalled Osama Malik to the side to take on the Sky Blues on Wednesday night with the midfielder being declared fit from the adductor injury picked up against Western Sydney.
The midfielder returns to the squad at the expense of Daniel Arzani with Malik bringing his Cup experience after winning the competition with Adelaide United in the inaugural year of the competition.
van’t Schip will once again have selection headaches for the Final with his side’s impressive squad depth showcased during Sunday’s win over Wellington. With a bench boasting the likes of Tim Cahill, Nicolas Colazo and Bruce Kamau, the starting lineup is still up in the air from the back four to the front three.
