City come into the penultimate match of the season with no changes to last week’s side that defeated Perth 2-0 in the Elimination Final.
Anthony Caceres was the biggest concern for John van’t Schip this week, picking up a strong knock from a clash with Glory defender Shane Lowry but the Head Coach says the midfielder has recovered and will be up for selection this week.
van’t Schip also announced that Ivan Franjic will miss out another week with a hamstring injury and will be touch-and-go for next week if City qualify for the Grand Final.
James Brown and Steve Kuzmanovski have been added to the extended side that will be cut down to 16 90 minutes before kick-off.
With a week’s rest under their belt, Adelaide United will be at full strength with no suspensions and the return of Socceroo full-back Tarek Elrich from injury.
City have won both of their matches at Coopers Stadium this season and will look to continue that trend on Friday night with the chance to qualify for the Club’s first Grand Final.
