Team News: City confirm squad for Western Sydney

Goal

Westfield W-League Head Coach Rado Vidosic has locked in his squad for Thursday night’s clash against Western Sydney.

By the time City take to the pitch at 7pm on Thursday, it will have been three weeks since the team last played – with the snap five-day lockdown meaning the team’s last game had to be postponed.

There are four inclusions to City’s squad for Thursday’s important fixture, headlined by midfielder Hollie Palmer who returns from injury. Sarah Cain and Lia Muldeary also are both back to being fully fit and have been included in the squad, while Samantha Johnson will make a long awaited return from a one-match suspension.

Tyla-Jay Vlajnic will have to watch this one from home, having picked up a red card last time out.
