Team News: City unchanged for first away trip

The teams are in for Saturday night’s clash with Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

Another week, another unchanged squad for City and Head Coach Warren Joyce as his side look to continue their perfect start to the season with three points against Adelaide United.

Joyce has gone two weeks with the same eleven – only replacing Ruon Tongyik with Luke Brattan on the bench last week – and all signs are pointing to the same formula for this week’s match, with no serious injury concerns.

Neil Kilkenny and Tongyik have been added to the extended side with both players subject to the intense competition in the squad at this stage of the season.

With Adelaide playing on Tuesday night in the Westfield FFA Cup, expect changes from the Reds for the contest as City travel to Coopers Stadium with a head of steam, looking to replicate their first four wins on the trot since late 2015.

City face the Reds on Saturday night at Coopers Stadium, kick-off 7.50pm. Watch the match live on Fox Sports 501 and free-to-air on Ten’s ONE HD.

Joyce’s side return home next week to take on Sydney FC on Friday 3 November in a double header with our W-League side. The women’s match against Victory kicks off at 5.20pm, men’s kick-off 7.50pm.
