Melbourne City has strengthened its side ahead of Friday afternoon’s clash with Brisbane, adding in-form American attacker Jasmyne Spencer and youngster Nia Stamatopoulos to the extended squad.
Spencer missed City’s clash with Melbourne Victory last weekend, but returns for City’s Round 11 clash, strengthening Head Coach Rado Vidosic’s attacking options.
Matildas international Kyah Simon will miss the clash, with the attacker being ruled out for the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.
The final squad will be cut down by two, 60 minutes prior to kick-off on Friday. City host Brisbane Roar at AAMI Park on Friday 11 January, kick-off 5:20pm. Get your tickets here.
