Just under a month since their last competitive fixture, Head Coach Rado Vidosic’s team will be eager to return to the form that saw them finish undefeated after the opening 11 rounds of the season.
Heading into this weekend’s Melbourne Derby, City will be boosted by two key inclusions. Japanese star Yukari Kinga returns following a calf injury that kept her out of action in Rounds 9 and 10, while January signing and American speedster Ally Watt has been named in the extended squad.
Following a solid block of training at the City Football Academy since her arrival in Melbourne, Watt will be excited by the opportunity to make her debut this week.
After a solid international window, City’s Westfield Matildas will all be back and available for selection ahead of Sunday’s Melbourne Derby at Lakeside Stadium, kick off 4:00pm.
