The team is in for Saturday’s crucial clash away to Western Sydney. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side in our Team News presented by Lotus Living.

After another break for internationals, Melbourne City returns to A-League football this week as they prepare for a crucial run towards the Finals Series.

Western Sydney stands in front of Warren Joyce’s men and the side will see a range of in’s for Saturday night’s contest.

Australian U23 representative Riley McGree, Lachlan Wales and Nathaniel Atkinson have been named in the extended squad with the Olyroos trio set to return to CFA Melbourne from Cambodia on Thursday and assessed on their condition ahead of the match. Ramy Najjarine has dropped out of the 18 temporarily but may be called up depending on the condition of the returning group.

Mark Birighitti and Dario Vidosic return to the squad from illness while Florin Berenguer makes the extended squad, using the week off to recover from his quad injury.

As mentioned earlier in the week, Scott Jamieson will remain on the side lines with a broken toe. The skipper will continue his recovery, looking to be back fit around Finals time.
