City face their first test outside of Victoria on Sunday when they head north to take on Brisbane at Dolphin Stadium.
Looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season, City will be boosted by the return of Socceroos attacker Jamie Maclaren. The striker has recovered from a hamstring injury that saw him sidelined for two matches, as he looks to continue his terrific start to the season when he faces his former side.
Connor Metcalfe, Ramy Najjarine and Tom Glover will miss the clash after being selected in Australia’s U-23 squad who headed to China this week to take on DPR Korea, Lithuania and the host nation, in a trio of international friendlies.
City face back-to-back road trips beginning with Brisbane Roar at Dolphin Stadium on Sunday 17 November, kick-off 4:00pm, before they travel to Bankwest Stadium to take on the Wanderers next Friday 22 November.
