Team News: City’s Round 7 squad

The team is in for this week’s clash with Brisbane Roar. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

Despite a Sunday-Friday turn around, Warren Joyce has named no outs to the side that took on Western Sydney, adding Neil Kilkenny, Bradeyn Crowley and Tim Cahill to the extended side for the contest.

Cahill returns to the mix after playing 66 minutes in the Socceroo’s World Cup Qualifier against Honduras but it is still to be confirmed what role he will be playing against Brisbane.

Kilkenny and Crowley will also be in the mix with both players looking to crack their way into a competitive squad.

On Thursday Joyce confirmed there were a few ‘niggles’ in the side ahead of Friday’s clash so a re-shuffle of personnel may be on the cards for his side.

City face Brisbane this Friday night at Suncorp Stadium, kick-off 7.50pm. See the match on Fox Sports 501.
