The team is in for Friday’s clash with Western Sydney. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

Following their first loss of the season in Round 6, City will be eager to bounce back with a win against Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday night when they travel to Bankwest Stadium for the first time.

Ahead of the clash, Erick Mombaerts has been boosted by the return of Frenchman Florin Berenguer who has missed City’s past four A-League fixtures due to injury. Tom Glover and Ramy Najjarine also return, following their successful tournament with Australia’s U-23 side in China, where Najjarine was named Player of the Tournament. Youngster Idrus Abdulahi rounds out City’s list of inclusions, with the 16-year-old named in the extended squad.

City take on the Wanderers at Bankwest Stadium on Friday 22 November, kick-off 7:30pm, before sitting out Round 8 with the bye. In Round 9, Mombaerts’ side return to AAMI Park, hosting Perth Glory in a blockbuster Friday night clash on Friday 6 December, kick-off 7:30pm. Get your tickets here
