The team is in for Thursday night’s Round 8 clash with Brisbane Roar at Dolphin Stadium in Queensland. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

After sitting out Round 7 with the bye, Melbourne City will be determined to extend their unbeaten start to the season when they head to the Sunshine State to take on Brisbane Roar in a blockbuster top four clash.

Ahead of the clash, City has been boosted by the return of pacey winger Rhali Dobson who missed City’s Round 6 clash with Perth Glory due to personal reasons. Dobson will bring experience to the squad and has the ability to whip in a dangerous cross as well as hit the scoreboard.

Young Matildas international, Nia Stamatopoulos has also been elevated for the clash, providing Head Coach Rado Vidosic with another midfield option.

City go head-to-head with Brisbane Roar at Dolphin Stadium on Thursday 2 January before returning to more Thursday night action when they host Canberra United at ABD Stadium on Thursday 9 January.
