The Socceroo has recovered from the knock to his knee he received during the Melbourne Derby and will put his hat in the ring in a massive clash against Sydney in the lead up to the Finals Series.
The Friday night clash has looked to be too soon for defender Michael Jakobsen who will miss out on this week’s contest with his calf injury. The former Danish international has worked overtime this week to be up for the contest but looks likely to return for selection next week.
Last week’s surprise exclusion Bruce Kamau has also been added to the 18-man squad to take on Sydney with the forward rested last week after an intense schedule.
