Team news: Melbourne City v Perth Glory

The teams are in for Friday night’s clash with Perth Glory. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side!

Melbourne City sees a relatively unchanged side for this week’s contest against Perth with Jason Trifiro and Hernan Espindola added to the extended squad for Friday night.

It is the first time this season John van’t Schip’s side has had no players in the ‘Out’ column, with the chance for the Head Coach to build continuity in his starting line up.

The young defensive pairing of Jacob Melling and Connor Chapman look likely to retain their spot in the line up with Aaron Hughes and Patrick Kisnorbo still a week away from full fitness while Aaron Mooy was back at training on Thursday, only hours after the birth of his first child.

The front three combination of Harry Novillo, Bruno Fornaroli and Corey Gameiro will also look to get another week under their belts as the City attacking front looks to build a formidable chemistry.
