The teams are in for Sunday’s clash against Newcastle. See who’s in and who’s out of this week’s side.

City make two forced changes after the departure of Erik Paartalu to South Korea’s K-League and the suspension of Anthony Caceres after being sent off for two yellows against the Wanderers.

Aaron Hughes sits out another week, not pulling up for Sunday’s contest against the Jets however the injury scare to Patrick Kisnorbo against Western Sydney has seen the Club captain pull through the week and receive the tick of approval from medical staff, being selected for this week’s contest.

The out’s has forced John van’t Schip to include Jason Trifiro, Wade Dekker and Steve Kuzmanovski to the extended squad that will be cut down to 16 before kick-off.

The Jets see the departure of one of their most experienced players in David Carney this week with the former Socceroo heading to Sydney during the A-League transfer window. The home side will be bolstered by the return of their captain Nigel Boogaard who makes his way back into the squad from suspension.

Newcastle come off a loss away to Adelaide United and the Novocastrians have only won one in their last 13 A-League matches.
