Terra Back For Fury Clash

Brazilian striker Alex Terra will make his long awaited return to first team action during tomorrow night’s match between Melbourne Heart FC and North Queensland Fury at AAMI Park.

Brazilian striker Alex Terra will make his long awaited return to first team action during tomorrow night-s match between Melbourne Heart FC and North Queensland Fury at AAMI Park.

The former Fluminense front man has been unavailable for selection since picking up an injury during Heart-s 3-0 loss to Gold Coast United on December 5.

But after successfully completing his injury rehabilitation, Terra has been cleared to make his comeback from injury, providing an added cutting edge to the Heart attack.

Terra-s return to Heart-s 15-man squad though comes at the expense of Jason Hoffman, who makes way for the diminutive striker after starting the Club-s previous match against Sydney FC before Christmas.

Head Coach John van ‘t Schip has opted against making further changes to Heart-s match day squad, with versatile vice-captain Matt Thompson overcoming early concerns to take his place in the side.

Teenage striker Eli Babalj remains the only Heart player sidelined through injury, and is on track to re-enter the fray towards the end of the month.
