Another 14 home matches at AAMI Park have come and gone, and with a home Elimination Final on the horizon, there’s plenty still left to play for.
But we wouldn’t be in this position without the incredible support of the City Family. Our members have been right there with us for every game, every goal and every moment in 2017/18, and have sung loud and proud no matter the result.
To show our appreciation, the Club ran a week of competitions and exciting activities in the lead up to our final home match against the Central Coast Mariners as a reward for the 11,293 members who stood by us when we needed them most.
The Ultimate Melbourne City Prize Pack
Coming to a City home match means so much more than witnessing all the spectacular goals, eye-catching saves and game-changing tackles. It’s about knowing you’re part of a team.
Robert Wood is a member who typifies just that. As a reward for his incredible support this season, Robert was presented with the Ultimate Melbourne City FC Prize Pack at half-time of our match against the Mariners.
A City Gold Family member, Robert attended every home match in 2017/18 and will enjoy the best prize a City fan could get, which includes:
- His 2018/19 Melbourne City membership for FREE;
- 2x tickets to the Melbourne City FC Player of the Year Event;
- A signed jersey from the entire Men’s team.

Manchester Bound!
Saturday night’s match against the Central Coast Mariners is a match which foundation member Sandro Alliri will never forget.
Thanks to our Principal Partner, Etihad Airways, Sandro won a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly to Manchester and watch Manchester City take on Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium!

How do you make a match day at AAMI Park even more enjoyable? Go on a behind-the-scenes tour of AAMI Park.
Our Principle Partner, Etihad Airways, gave six lucky City members the chance to watch Saturday’s match against Central Coast Mariners from the Etihad Corporate Suite!
Members Jennifer Yacoub, Ada Xidias, Josephine Galea, Connor Hartman, Aleksandra Baslakovska and Michael Cooke, enjoyed an all-star matchday experience which included:
- Gourmet grazing menu
- Beer, wine and soft drink
- Premium level 2 seat
The incredible experiences didn’t stop there. Thanks to TripADeal, we gave five lucky City members a chance to enjoy an inner sanctum experience at AAMI Park.

McDonald’s Keeper Challenge
Saving a penalty is one of the most difficult tasks a goalkeeper can face. For City member Jason Santana, it is one that paid off big time!
Thanks to McDonald’s, Jason was given the chance to win $5000 just by saving a penalty at half-time. The catch, it was against young City star Denis Genreau.

Special Post-Match Function
As a reward for members who attended every home match during the regular season, we held a special post-match function at Edwin’s Café.
The attending members got a chance to meet and greet the entire first team and each walked away with one of 80 physical prizes and a huge number of exclusive experiences, which included:
- A personal gym programme created by Melbourne City FC sports science staff
- Your phone voicemail recording performed by a City player
- Tickets to the Player of the Year night
- Team photos with the players
- And heaps more!
