Melbourne Heart FC Captain and Socceroos legend Harry Kewell announced his retirement from professional football yesterday at the conclusion of the 2013-14 A-League season.
Kewell had a distinguished career and won a number of trophies, also representing the Australia at two FIFA World Cup-s in Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010.
The tributes flowed for the 35-year-old via Twitter from his Melbourne Heart teammates, former teammates and a number of people he has entertained and inspired over the years.
