Melbourne City FC returns to action following the international break when they host cross-town rivals Melbourne Victory in a history making Melbourne Derby.

For the first time in W-League history the two teams will battle it out in a prime-time standalone fixture at AAMI Park on Friday night.

Under Head Coach Rado Vidosic, the home side will be looking to make it two wins on the trot following their 3-1 win over Sydney FC in Round 2.

Matildas international and former Brisbane Roar attacker Tameka Butt is set to make her league debut in City blue, while City will also be boosted by the return of young Matildas international Sofia Sakalis.

Defender Chelsea Blissett will miss the clash through suspension, while Rebekah Stott is on international duty with New Zealand national team.

City host Victory at AAMI Park on Friday 16 November, kick-off 7:30pm. Get your tickets here.
