Statement from the Australian Professional Leagues on the new broadcast deal.
As of today, the APL are unveiling a new deal to show the A-League and the Westfield W-League from next season with the US broadcast giant VIACOM CBS – which owns Australia’s Network 10.
This is a game-changing agreement for football in Australia. With this five-year deal, every Saturday night during the season will be ‘Football Night’ on 10, with the A-League’s match of the round at 7:30pm. 10 Bold will be the new home of the Westfield W-League, with a match broadcast live on Sundays. All free-to-air matches will also be simulcast on 10 Play.

Right now, we’re all thinking about the fact that the current season is about to hit its crescendo, as we enter the final weeks of one of the tightest, most competitive campaigns we’ve ever seen, all of it shown on long term partners and supporters of football Fox Sports.
