David Williams will serve a one match suspension after the outcome of the Match Review Panel, following his red card against Brisbane Roar on Sunday.

The following statement was issued by Football Federation Australia this afternoon.

"The incident involving David Williams (Melbourne Heart) in or around the 67th minute of Melbourne Heart-s match against Brisbane Roar on Sunday afternoon.

The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as the player was issued with a direct red card.

The MRP confirmed that David Williams will serve the Minimum Sanction of one (1) match, being the Mandatory Match Suspension."
