Voted by the fans, Williams is the latest player to join the squad of Foxtel A-League All Stars Coach Josep Gombau.
Williams joins Central Coast Mariners duo Josh Rose and Storm Roux, Sydney FC-s Sasa Ognenovski and Ali Abbas, Western Sydney Wanderers- Tomi Juric and Matthew Spiranovic and Melbourne Victory’s Gui Finkler and Besart Berisha as the players revealed to date.
Williams- selection comes after he became Melbourne City-s all-time leading scorer in an impressively consistent campaign last season.
Williams featured against Manchester United in the inaugural All Stars squad last year and this will be his second call-up for the exhibition match.
Of the 20-player Foxtel A-League All Stars squad, 16 come from fans- votes while the remaining four (4) wild card picks are left to the discretion of Gombau and his assistant coach Phil Moss.
The Foxtel A-League All Stars will meet Juventus at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on 10 August with the match to be broadcast live and exclusive on the Seven Network nationally.
