Winger Rutger Worm has earned a recall to the Melbourne Heart FC squad for tomorrow night-s match against Adelaide United at Hindmarsh Stadium.

Worm, who last featured for Heart during the side-s 1-1 draw with Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium on March 2, has been a victim of the Red and White-s substantial attacking depth, and replaces Jason Hoffman in John van ‘t Schip-s only change to the match day squad.

Making 18 appearances for a return of four assists, the former NEC Nijmegen star remains a potent creative force, with his vision and crossing ability key assets.

The 25-year old-s return on the eve of the finals series will enable him to potentially cement his place on the plane to either Perth or Wellington, Heart-s looming finals opponents, next weekend.

While Hoffman can be considered unlucky to miss out on selection, Heart-s clean bill of health has undoubtedly escalated the competition for places.

The Red and White remains the only team to enter the final match of the regular season without a single player unavailable for selection, leaving the Club well placed to make an impact come finals time.

With a full squad available, van ‘t Schip-s welcome dilemma is a remarkable accomplishment, and testament to the conditioning and preparation work undertaken by Heart-s high performance team.
