The details of the Foxtel National Youth League Grand Final have been confirmed as Melbourne City prepare to take on either the Central Coast Mariners or Sydney FC on Saturday 28 January 2017.
City confirmed their spot in the 2017 Grand Final last week as a 1-0 win over Perth Glory saw Joe Palatsides’ side qualify for the match with one regular season match remaining.
City’s opponents will be decided in the final round of the regular season as Central Coast and Sydney FC go head to head in Conference B this weekend to decide who will join City at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday 28 January.
Melbourne City NYL Head Coach Joe Palatsides says his side will be ready for the chance to win the Club’s second piece of youth silverware.
“The boys have put a lot of effort into this season and they deserve to be in the position they are in,” Palatsides said.
“It’s a great achievement to reach the final and we’re really looking forward to the occasion.”
