In July 2017, Connor Metcalfe was elevated to Melbourne City FC’s senior roster as a scholarship player following a three-year stint in the Club’s youth system.
The central defender first joined the Club’s National Premier League program in 2014, before earning a Foxtel National Youth League contract in 2016, where he has continued to develop as a footballer.
A National Youth League winner, Metcalfe earned a senior debut in the Hyundai A-League against Central Coast Mariners in January 2018 where he was praised for his last ditch cameo which helped City score a late equaliser.
