Eugene Galekovic

Eugene Galekovic returned to his home town of Melbourne at the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign after making 238 appearances during a successful 10-year stint in Adelaide, where he forged a reputation as one of the country’s premier shot-stoppers. He has been named in the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) Team of the Season on five occasions, and represented the Socceroos at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups. The 37-year-old not only provides a reliable option between the posts for Melbourne City FC, but he also provides a wealth of experience and leadership to the squad.
