Since joining Melbourne City FC on loan from Manchester City ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, Luke Brattan has played an instrumental role in the middle of the park.
Brattan joined Championship club Bolton Wanderers on loan before returning to Manchester City to train and progress in the world-class environment at the City Football Academy, Manchester.
The three-time Hyundai A-League Championship winner returned to Australia where he made 91 appearances for Brisbane Roar before signing for Manchester City in October 2015.
The holding midfielder has continued to excel since his return to the A-League, where he played an important role in City’s charge towards the end of the 2017/18 Hyundai A-League season. Brattan’s distribution in the middle of the park is vital to Head Coach Warren Joyce’s side. Last season the midfielder led the way for assists (5), chances created (53) and passes (1,632) at the City Football Academy.
